California K9 Solutions (Cali K9 ) Dog Training

Our experience at CaliK9 is exactly what our puppy needed , Juan has been working with us to achieve the right training so we can take him anywhere without worrying if he's going to bolt into the street or jump on a child or elderly person . 5 stars 10/2023 - So far, so good, they are very responsive even though I am a major bug-a-boo. I email almost everyday while my rescue is in training. You can see that they enjoy thier jobs in the videos. 12/9/23 - Not even a week out of training and her bad behaviors are in full force. I have emailed them for help. I taught her to sit, lay down, stay, etc. Before she went there, I see they do this with the positive reinforcement. I feel like I'm doing exactly what they showed me. I'm going to go to an in person class and see what I'm doing wrong if it's me. Keep you updated. 12/16/2023 - In person class, walked in building, she was trying to get another participant and their dog. I'm yanking straight up, saying No, she will stop for a bit then start again. An employee took her and worked with her for a bit to make sure she remembered everything and she did. (I do work with her at home on the basics). Then it was my turn, I did have some of the commands wrong, for example box, I called place, I had come and break down. Everytime I would walk her around she would try to lunge toward other dog, so now we tried out .... will write more, work calls. Let's just say better.

I’m very happy with the private trainings. I appreciate that they know all the different ways to motivate my Malinois. Now, he can go to my work, cafes, hotels, campgrounds, digital nomad life. Isaiah went above and beyond to help me with all my various needs. All of the trainers are highly educated and naturals. They are much better than my friends that are dog trainers I’ve used before tbh. Time well spent.

I feel like the trainers don’t really care about the dogs and the results. We spent $3000+ here and our dog still has bad behaviors. The trainers do not follow up and just focuses on what’s happening now. One trainer even yelled at me because my dog peed on an outside large bucket and I was not quick enough to pull him away. I preferred Ty the Dog Guy trainers in Fremont more and saw actual results there.

I have learned so much in such a short amount of time! I really needed the training as Luna is my first puppy. I grew up with a family dog but having a puppy on my own is a very different experience. So glad I found CaliK9 and took my Luna to 1:1 training. CaliK9s group classes are great too and they offer different levels of group classes. The group training is helping me to learn how to engage my pup even when there are distractions around. Can't wait to keep learning more and I'm sure I will rely on CaliK9 for any future training needs as they offer plenty of options and refreshers as your pup grows up.
